Specialized Industry Representative

Team-oriented specialized industry representative responsible for supporting and assisting customers with Sage Construction and Real Estate software solutions. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and technical skills, strong communication skills, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment. This position will work closely with management at all levels, the sales and marketing team, and outside customers, consultants, and vendors.

Essential Functions
  • Training and certification in Sage Construction and Real Estate software as well as related Independent Software Vendor applications
  • Assist customers in individual software-specific and adaptive-related solutions, implementation and planning issues, training, software installations, short- and long-term focused projects, customized reporting, and more
  • Strong problem solver: Critical thinking skills both tactical and strategic
  • Self-started and results-oriented; adheres to Practical Software Solutions best practices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player attitude and the ability to work with all levels of the organization
Physical Requirements
  • Must be available for callback support on a regular basis
  • Some evening and weekend work may be required for training or software installation or updates
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Travel will be required including some overnight
  • Must appear in a professional manner in front of customers
Experience and Education
  • Construction and Project Management experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Working knowledge of basic Information Technology applications
  • Basic accounting principles either through work experience or education
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Sage X3 Implementation Specialist

Team-oriented implementation specialist who can meet clients' new requirements by planning and delivering Sage X3 system integrations. Candidates will determine, plan, deliver and validate Sage X3 integration for customers, as well as develop and conduct training programs and manage client expectations. Heavy travel, continuing education, and networking are required for this position.

Job Duties
  • Determines Sage X3 integration requirements by analyzing client architectures, platforms, front-end, back-end, and legacy applications
  • Plans Sage X3 integration process by examining business processes and functionality of legacy applications; defining integration modules; determining project scope, system architecture, and structure features, functions, and specifications; planning full software life cycle; identifying factors that negatively impact conversion; forecasting resource requirements; establishing delivery timetables
